Piano Lieven Festival

The Lieven Foundation Summer Festival takes place every summer during the months of July and August. Concerts are held weekly at the Steinway House as well as Bösendorfer Salon and Vivaldi Hall. Under the direction of its artistic director Alon Goldstein, the foundation invites eight highly distinguished young pianists to spend eight weeks in the city of Vienna, to receive masterclasses as well as performing opportunities. The faculty includes such piano masters as Ferenc Rados, Alfred Brendel, Elisso Virsaladze, Andreas Staier, Arie Vardi, Ronald Brautigam, Tatiana Zelikman as well as Davide Cabassi, Claudio Martinez Mehner, Konstantin Lifschitz Ingrid Fliter, Alexei Volodin, and Alon Goldstein. This year the festival will commence on July 3rd until August 25th. Masterclasses are held at the MdW in Anton von Webern Platz.
